What is the difference between Ombré Brows and Nano Brows?OMBRÉ BROWS Is a Tattoo shading techique that invloves a machine that places extremely tiny dots of pigment into the skin, creating a soft shaded "make up" filled in brow. Ombré is a fade from lightest at the front of the brow to darkest to the tail of the brow. -Heals VERY natural -Great for anyone who prefers the look of their brows, how they would when they fill it in with their make up day to day -Gives more density -Great for all skin types -Lasts 4+ years NANO BROWS This service creates the illusion of hair, achieving soft and natural-looking tattooed brow results! If you are not familiar with the nano technique, it creates natural, hair-like strokes using a machine kind of similar to microblading. However, it is less invasive, thereby decreasing the likelihood of permanency, scar tissue formation, blurry lines after years, and pigment discoloration. Nano brows offer a more advanced and refined alternative to microblading. -Subtle and natural brows. -Great for normal to dry skin types. -Last 2-3 Years COMBINATION BROWS Is the best of both worlds nano brow at the front and shading throughout for density. -Natural, yet definded look -Last 3+ years depending on client's skin type, lifestyle and aftercare

What i should do to prepare for my tattooing appointment vs Natural brow appointment?Tattooing - Read and follow the pre-care instructions on my booking site or email confirmations for optimal brow results. NO alcohol the night prior to appointment NO coffee or caffeine the morning of appointment - Do not have your brows tinted or laminated before procedure. - Must not use retin-A near the brow area 2 weeks before or after the procedure. - You will need to avoid getting your brows wet for 7 to 14 days after! This includes excessive sweating, pools, lakes, saltwater, and extreme sun exposure, so plan your vacations accordingly and come with freshly washed hair! - NO botox, fillers, facials, chemical peels or any type of procedure of the like for atleast 2 weeks prior to your procedure, and also a minimum 2 weeks after. Natural Brows (specific to waxing): - Avoid sun tanning or sunburns prior 4 days prior - Must not use retin-A near the brow area 2 weeks before or after the procedure, or any active skin care ex. Does the cosmetic procedure hurt? For Nano Brows you will be pre-numbed before procedure the discomfort level is very mild to no pain at all. For Ombré i use numbing during the appointment only, the discomfort level is also very mild to no pain at all. However everyones pain tolerance varies from person to person, it is recommended to avoid booking your appointment during your menstrual cycle thus causing you increased sensitivity affecting your comfort level. Drinking prior to your appointment will cause more redness/swelling and unnecessary excess bleeding which can effect your healed results.
-
How long does the procedure take?-Initial Nano Brow appointments take 2-3 hours with the follow up being 1-1.5 hours - Initial Ombré or Combination appointments take 3-3.5 hours with the follow up being 1.5 hours.
-
What can i expect during the healing process?- immediately after your appointment you may experience some redness or swelling around the treated area this is normal and will dissipate within 24-48 hours. The hours following your brows will appear much darker than your healed results due to oxidation of the pigment. - On day 3-4 you may notice your brows starting to flake or lightly scab this is normal and just apart of the healing process. It is important not to pick or itch the treated area, doing so can result in loss of pigment. Once the flaking areas have naturally fallen off you may notice your skin is much lighter or uneven muting, hiding or diffusing of the pigment underneath. The epidermis will normalize over the next 4-6 weeks and softened pigment should appear more clearly on the surface over time. It is crucial to wait the full 6-8 weeks to see the true colour and healed results. - At 4-6 weeks or once all the scabs have fully flaked off your brows have fully healed. Any pigment that did not hold will be addressed at your touch-up appointment or if you'd prefer a change of thickness or colour that can easily be addressed during that appointment!

What factors will affect my brows?- Anemia and Iron deficiency: Your body will absorb these iron based pigments more quickly over time. -Oily Skin: Can cause hairstrokes to blur, not retain well and is very likely the oily production will break down the pigment faster over time, meaning they would fade faster. -Frequent/Regular Smokers: May notice that their semi-permanent cosmetics will fade faster. -Sun Exposure: Sun exposure without SPF will cause premature fading -Age and Metabolism It is very important that you follow before care instructions to help minimize factors that could affect your procedure this includes avoiding blood thinning medication, alcohol, and caffine 24 hours prior to your appointment.
-
